Superintendent/Foreman

WENCO Construction Company (WENCO) is a commercial general contractor serving Southwestern Ohio since 1982. We tailor our services to fit our clients’ needs, for all projects large or small. The markets we serve are industrial and manufacturing, medical and healthcare, religious, institutional, and commercial. We specialize in new construction, building additions or alterations, pre-engineered metal buildings, and interior and exterior renovations. WENCO is seeking a self-directed working field leader with 5+ years’ of experience to drive our projects forward.

Preferred Qualifications:

New construction ground up buildings (5,000 SF to 100,000 SF)

Design-build pre-engineered metal buildings

Interior renovation projects

Concrete footers and foundations

Experience operating jobsite equipment, backhoe, bobcat, scissor lift, and boom lift

Job requirements to include but not limited to:

• Candidate must have the experience to work independently and as a team.
• Read drawings and specifications
• Leadership skills to teach new hires and develop their skills
• Manage daily field personnel and equipment
• Daily interaction with project manager and subcontractors
• Must possess skills to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to foresee a 3-week look ahead
• Responsible for quality control from team and subcontractors
• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
• Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and enforcing safety guidelines at all times
• First aid, CPR and 30-hour OSHA training will be required
• Previous references from past employers or customers

Physical Requirements:

• Climb up and down ladders
• Bend, squat, twist/turn
• Lift up to 80 pounds
• Push/pull up to 80 pounds

Benefits for eligible full-time employees include Overtime pay, vacation, holiday pay, medical, dental, vision and 401K match.

Pay ranges from $35 - $45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications with additional bonus opportunities.
