Gage Inspector

A Gage Inspector is needed to support manufacturing and servicing operations by performing incoming component and in-process inspections using standard equipment and assuring compliance to all regulatory standards. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with occasional Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Calibrate and operate measurement equipment according to procedures
• Perform calibrations on customer's owned assets
• Verify measurements are accurate and discern whether readings are true or false
• Collaborate with your co-workers and supervisor to problem solve and meet deadlines
• Perform cleaning of work areas and machinery
• Follow company office rules, policies, safe work practices, and procedures that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Take personal ownership to work safely in every aspect, following both established and "common sense" safety rules
• Must be able to accurately and correctly meet the daily job quota
• Perform other duties as required

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Prior calibration or measuring experience a plus, but we will train
• Must be able to read decimals and have a basic understanding of metric prefixes
• Must be computer literate with basic reading and math skills
• Must require fine motor skills for precise handling of tools, gages, and equipment
• Must have the ability to listen and follow through with instructions, work with others in analyzing and solving technical problems while multi-tasking
• Must perform precision tasks with keen eyesight and focus, be meticulous, pay attention to detail, and double check everything
• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a professional manner to support team actions
• Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds
• Must have own reliable transportation
