Vizmeg Landscape is looking to add a Landscape Foreman to our team in Stow, OH! As our Landscape Foreman, your main responsibilities will be to oversee and work on landscape projects and assist with snow and ice removal during the winter seasons. What you’ll be doing:

• Oversees and works on landscaping projects
• Responsible for softscape tasks such as planting, seeding, topsoil applications, and mulching
• Responsible for hardscape tasks such as patio installations, deck installations, retaining walls, concrete applications, and low voltage lighting
• Manages the creation of landscape features such as pavilions, firepits, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and water features
• Mentors and trains new laborers
• Loads and unloads materials and equipment
• Manages the jobsites daily material needs and plans for the following day
• Manages man hours for tasks to complete

What you need to succeed:

• Layout and installation experience of plants, hardscape, masonry, carpentry, excavating, grading, drainage, and snow removal
• Must have a broad knowledge of plants, shrubs, and trees commonly used in the region
• Ability to operate heavy equipment used on the job including skid steers, excavators, trenchers, tractors, sod cutters, tillers, tampers, carpentry tools, and hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret plans and details
• The job requires heavy lifting, up to 70 lbs
• Ability and confidence to initiate changes and improvements while maintaining forward direction
