Position Type: Full Time
Location: Highland Heights, Ohio

Starting wage: $22–$24 per hour
Shift schedule: Friday/Saturday/Monday/Sunday 3 p‑11 p

Responsibilities

• Advocate of Empathy: understand the importance of empathy and create human connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
• Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests and abilities, collaborate on engagement plans, and implement strategies with patience for success.
• Master of the Mise En Scène: set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and residents’ rooms for nightly routines.
• Life Partner: partner with residents to achieve daily life from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude that loves residents.
• Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls.
• Criminal clearance required.
