Job Title: Assembler | $18+HR | 1st Shift
Job Description
As an Assembler, you will build and install units using both manual methods and lifting equipment, ensuring accurate measurements and consistent quality. You will perform mechanical assembly with hand and power tools, verify finished parts using measuring tools, and handle materials safely, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install units manually and with lifting equipment according to work instructions and specifications.
- Measure parts accurately for installation using tape measures and rulers.
- Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet required standards and dimensions.
- Carry out mechanical assembly tasks using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Follow detailed work instructions and assembly procedures to complete tasks correctly and efficiently.
- Handle and lift materials and components up to 50 pounds in a safe and controlled manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient assembly process.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues with parts, tools, or instructions to ensure timely resolution.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of previous manufacturing assembly experience.
- At least 2 years of experience using tape measures and rulers in a manufacturing assembly environment.
- Proficiency in working from written work instructions and assembly documentation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools commonly used in mechanical assembly.
- Hands-on experience with power tools used for assembly and installation.
- Ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds safely.
- Strong measurement skills and ability to read and interpret dimensions accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction or similar hands-on industrial work.
- Experience with installation work in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
- Comfort working with a variety of mechanical components and fasteners.
- Ability to maintain focus and consistency while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
- Strong commitment to quality and adherence to safety procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
