Senior Financial Analyst, Performance Coatings Group

Job Type: Full-time. 4 days on-site, 1 flex day each week

Location: Brecksville, OH to start, and transitioning to Wickliffe, OH in 2028.

As Lubrizol approaches its centennial in 2028, our Wickliffe campus will become the unified home of Lubrizol’s global headquarters , integrating Lubrizol’s Brecksville site capabilities and employees to the Wickliffe campus.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting our Performance Coatings Group , you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving strategic financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis to support profitable growth across the region. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insights that inform decision-making and optimize business outcomes.

• Monitor financial performance of the business unit including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.

• Provide timely , concise, and actionable financial information to business leaders and management.

• Lead development of the region’s annual operating plans and forecasts.

• Support new product costing and volume analysis to assess profitability and value proposition.

• Partner with manufacturing, sales, and marketing to analyze costs, set pricing strategies, and optimize margins.

• Analyze budget and forecast performance to support data-driven decisions.

• Support development of strategic plans and financial trajectory.

• Support monthly business reviews, financial reporting, and closing activities.

• Manage rebate agreements and commission and accrual processes.

• Support internal controls and financial system integrity.

• Assist with global initiatives and ad hoc finance projects.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 5 years of financial experience.

• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial principles and accounting.

• Advanced financial modeling and Microsoft Office Suite skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills .

• Well-organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Self-starter with proactive mindset and results orientation.

• Continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward

• MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.

• Experience with SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Copilot.
