Evening Front Desk Associate

Queen City Sportsplex is looking to hire a weekend front desk receptionist to join our team. Qualified candidates will have previous receptionist experience. Candidates who have done similar work in the past will be preferred.

As a receptionist, your role will involve completing a variety of tasks, to include light housekeeping responsibilities. This will include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, refilling supplies, and other tasks as needed. To be successful in the position, candidates will need to be capable of working efficiently without compromising standards for safety and customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Typical staffing hours will be 3PM-11PM Saturday and Sunday, depending on facility usage that day.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

You will be asked to complete a wide variety of tasks. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Supervises participants and activities in the facility.
• Ensures the safety of all participants in the facility.
• Leads or participates in program activities when directed.
• Answers telephones; provides requested information about recreation activities or directs calls to appropriate person.
• Greets visitors; answers questions about recreation programs or directs guests to appropriate person.
• Accepts program applications and fees.
• Ensures that building and grounds are secure, organized, and clean.
• Completes appropriate paperwork for any accidents or incidents that occur at the facility.
• Assisting in concession stand or bar when necessary.
• Any other duties assigned by the Director of Facility Operations.

Receptionist Requirements:

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Ability to handle multiple phone lines and prioritize incoming calls
• High school degree or equivalent
• Working knowledge of the English language
• The ability to work efficiently while meeting company standards and prioritizing assigned tasks
• The ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred, but not required
