Shift: Night Shift (3x12s)

Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality patient care across all age groups. This role involves delivering both critical and non-critical respiratory care using a variety of invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary techniques in inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical expertise, professionalism, and adherence to established scope of practice standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and evaluate response to respiratory care treatments
• Administer and monitor therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures
• Perform invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary interventions
• Accurately document patient care activities in medical records
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home care techniques
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
• Precept and train students and new staff as needed
• Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and competency programs
• Take on charge or team lead responsibilities when required

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC)
• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Strong background in critical care and cardiopulmonary conditions
• NICU experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recent experience in a similar setting
• Active membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC)

Education Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Certifications & Licensure

• Active State Respiratory Care License
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred:

• NRP Certification (especially for NICU experience)
