About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience. Must have the ability to float to care for the same patient population in designated units. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments are required during orientation, with acceptable scores mandatory. Description: This position involves caring for patients in a medical/surgical and telemetry environment. Potential floating to units may occur for patient care within the same population. Night shifts are scheduled from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The successful candidate must possess a valid and active Ohio nursing license or a compact license. All required certifications need to be current and active. Candidates are expected to have a reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty for qualification. It is important to note that candidates will undergo a background check, with a review of any hits by the hiring facility. Candidates should be prepared for a nicotine-free workplace policy, applicable to all travelers except certain roles. The hiring facility has strict policies regarding conduct and compliance that must be adhered to.
