JOB PURPOSE:
- Move product and components to and from packaging line
- Load and unload trucks
PRINCIPAL FUNCTION:
- Keeping lines supplied with proper components to insure continuous operation.
- Operate and maintain stretch-wrappers, and other equipment.
- Loading and unloading of trailers.
- Maintain proper documents and identification of product.
- Know how to operate and maintain fork lifts.
- Safely operate forklifts at all times.
- Report all problems to lead operator.
- Other lead/supervisor directed tasks.
- Fill in on line as needed.
- Train other team members.
- Required to follow all safety, FDA, GMP, GDP requirements
RESULTS EXPECTED:
- Ensure proper loading and documentation of outgoing product.
- Ensure proper components supplied to line.
- Ensure proper skid wrapping of finished product.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:
- Forklift driving skills.
- Understanding of resource needs list.
- Ability to function in a team environment.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES / DECISION MAKING
- Ensure proper loading of trucks.
- Ensure proper components supplied to line.
- Immediately report unacceptable quality to lead operator.
- Maintain proper records.
