What You’ll Do
As a material handler you’ll be part of our team located in Columbus, OH. You’ll get to:

• Stock or replenish finished goods, repair parts, sets, supplier catalog literature, supplies or returned product, in various storage areas within the Distribution Center
• Tab, sleeve, bag or label items prior to stocking
• Obtain needed product from bulk areas or transfer points using necessary portable handling equipment.
• Fill rush orders, including unique, hand-billed, and special orders by pulling the product, preparing and packing for shipment, and delivering it to the staging area for shipment.
• Monitor the quantity of items in stock locations to assure that stock is not depleted
• Maintain low lists, internal usage records, and stock status records.
• Work closely with the inventory control and the repair sections as necessary in coordinating the inventory of assigned area as required.
• Perform the necessary handling requirements of the job, routing equipment checks, re-charges and daily maintenance.
• Perform any duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with WMS & AS400 picking operation and process.
• Comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
• Must be able to work with little direct supervision, self-starter attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and high level of quality orientation
• Able to adapt and prioritize work to support the flow of work through the Picking area.
• Must be flexible in job duties and be able to perform a variety of tasks upon request.
• Able to lift and maneuver 40 pounds and stand for 8 hour shift
