By mid-day, you’ve translated complex drawings into efficient toolpaths, and by afternoon you’re refining cycle times and coaching a teammate on a new approach. As a CNC Manufacturing Programmer on our Springfield team, you’ll be the bridge between design intent and flawless parts.

What You’ll Do

• Create and refine CNC programs for diverse machining operations, ensuring precision and repeatability.
• Set up and run CNC equipment, verifying parts meet specifications and strict quality standards.
• Partner closely with engineers and production to diagnose and resolve machining challenges.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on CNC machines to keep them running at peak performance.
• Translate technical drawings and blueprints into accurate, efficient programs.
• Champion safety and efficiency by applying best practices across the machining process.
• Document programming revisions, machine parameters, and production results with meticulous detail.
• Share knowledge by training and mentoring junior team members in programming and machine operation.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience as a CNC Programmer (or similar) in a manufacturing setting.
• Fluency in G-code and M-code.
• Strong grasp of CNC machinery, workholding, and tooling selection.
• Ability to read, interpret, and act on technical drawings and schematics.
• Keen problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Clear communicator and effective collaborator.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
