Technical Operator (CNC Machinist)

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Technical Operator (CNC Machinist) for one of our largest manufacturing clients. This person works on the manufacturing floor making precision plastic (PTFE) seal parts using computer controlled machines.

Responsibilities:

Run manufacturing machines (CNC lathes and mills) that shape PTFE material into seals

Follow instructions and blueprints to make sure parts are made correctly

Measure parts using precision tools to confirm they meet specifications

Adjust machines and tools when needed to keep parts within tolerance

Document work completed, including quantities made and any rejected parts

Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

Work scheduled shifts and help with overtime when customer demand is high.

Ray rate: $24.50-$32.50 (DOE)

Skills and Requirements

• GED or associate's degree

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• 1+ years experience in CNC operation - Can read Vernier calipers, micrometers, and blueprints

• Machining / programming experience
