Role Summary

We are seeking a Corporate Development Intern with strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic research capabilities. You’ll work directly with leadership to analyze potential growth opportunities, evaluate market dynamics, and assist with internal decision-making that shapes our roadmap. This internship is ideal for a graduate student (or exceptional undergrad) seeking hands-on experience in corporate development, venture strategy, or strategic finance within a high-growth tech company.

This is not a shadowing role — you’ll build actual models, present strategic findings, and contribute to the foundational materials that support investment and partnership decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging trends, potential partnerships, and whitespace opportunities across LISNR’s core and adjacent verticals.

• Build or support financial models, including DCFs, revenue forecasts, TAM/SAM/SOM sizing, and customer/unit economics frameworks.

• Analyze acquisition targets, partner performance metrics, and potential commercial collaborations.

• Draft strategic insights in investment memos, due diligence reports, and benchmarking analyses to support decision-making.

• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, and Finance teams to gather inputs and shape proposals.

• Evaluate customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (CLTV), gross margin by segment, and other key SaaS performance indicators.

• Work independently with regular check-ins to iterate on projects and present findings in a clear, structured format.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or a related field. High-performing undergrads with strong modeling capabilities will be considered.

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and financial modeling techniques (DCF, cap tables, cohort modeling, revenue forecasting, etc.).

• Experience conducting market research, trend analysis, and synthesizing strategic insights.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills — you must be able to build decks, draft memos, and present findings to executive stakeholders.

• Resourceful and self-directed — able to work independently while establishing clear check-ins and asking the right questions as you build deliverables.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with tools such as CapIQ, PitchBook, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms.

• Prior experience in corporate development, VC/PE, investment banking, or strategic finance.

• Exposure to SaaS metrics, customer lifetime value analysis, or unit economics.

• Interest in proximity technology, fintech innovation, or embedded platforms.
