Maintenance Technician

1st Shift 7am-4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY : We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with supervisory experience, to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and preventative maintenance , along with the ability to perform in-house fabrication using standard shop tools. Must have a focus on production and meeting customer expectations. Role is at a growing start-up facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, and electrical/electronic controls .
• Carry out in-house fabrication, welding, and machining tasks as needed for equipment repairs or modifications.
• Safely operate shop tools, including grinders, drills, saws, welding equipment, and measuring instruments.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues to quickly restore production.
• Assist in installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
• Follow all company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Collaborate and communicate with engineering support teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication tools .
• Strong knowledge of conveyors, pneumatics, electrical control systems, and mechanical repairs .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, and electronic troubleshooting preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime

EDUCATION : A high school diploma or GED; or up to five years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
