Reliable power doesn't happen by accident-it's built, maintained, and protected by skilled technicians. As a Power Generation Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping large-scale generator systems running for customers who depend on consistent, dependable power. This is hands-on, technical work supporting standby and prime power applications across a wide range of industries.

You'll work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.

What You'll Do

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair power generation equipment ranging from 500 kW to 2,000 kW

• Perform engine, mechanical, and electrical diagnostics on diesel generator systems

• Clean, recondition, overhaul, and rebuild generator engines and components

• Read and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

• Determine parts reusability per manufacturer guidelines and initiate salvage or replacement requests

• Accurately complete service reports and documentation

• Perform all work safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2-3 years of experience servicing power generation equipment, diesel engines, or related industrial systems

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on generator or engine rebuild experience

• Solid knowledge of DC electrical systems and machine electronic controls

• Ability to follow technical manuals, service procedures, and manufacturer updates
