Transportation Driver - Part Time

The Clinton County Veterans Service Commission is seeking candidates for the position of

Transportation Driver (Part-time) .

• Copy of Valid Driver's License,

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction from the Veterans' Service Office, transport Clinton County Veterans to and from VA Medical Centers and other locations deemed necessary by the Executive Director. Responsible for the safety of all passengers while in the vehicle. Perform routine maintenance on vehicle and maintain mileage log. Demonstrate punctual and safe driving. Perform other duties requested by the Veterans' Service Office.

SALARY: $15.00 Hourly (with a guaranteed 90 day raise)

REQUIREMENTS: Honorably discharged veteran and a resident of Clinton County ( Preferred but not required ). Must possess reliable open communications with the Office staff and retain a valid Ohio Motor Vehicle Operator's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR ASSETS: Financial loss possible, but preventable through exercise of discretion and care.

EDUCATION: High School and/or vocational secretarial skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal light, heat, air and space in work place. Compliance with non- smoking policy of Clinton County.

DRUG TESTING: All applicants tentatively selected for employment are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
