Quality Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- In charge of the Quality of one or several sectors.
- Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).
- Challenge supervisors to identify and manage risks in a preventive mode.
- Be the local expert of the traceability system for the manufacturing floor.
- Lead Process Audits and Process FMEAs Create and maintain quality control documentation, insure related training and application in the sector.
- Lead continuous improvement on its perimeter.
- Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issue and problem solving on his sector.
- Be a member of the Short Interval Management (of the production lines).
- Provide solutions to increase Customer Satisfaction.
- Provide inputs and challenge about quality for new evolution, contribute to process/control capability implementation.
- Be the local expert of the assembled products in his sector.
Skills:
- Looking for a Junior to Mid-Level QA engineer, someone who is a "doer".
- Someone who is on the line and in the weeds.
- Someone who is open to training and growth.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum previous experience, in the functions described, of three years or less Mandatory good level of English.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic).
- 3 + years of experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc.).
- Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desired.
- Experience on ESD desired.
- The Quality Excellence of the Offers delivered to the customers.
- The Quality Excellence of Supply Chain (from Supplier to Customers).
- The timely and effectively management of customer containment actions (Business Risk Escalation, Offer Safety Alerts…).
