Job Summary

As a Warranty Customer Care Manager, you will place the customer’s satisfaction with their residential Fischer Home construction warranty at the center of all you do. If you are a passionate problem solver who seeks out the best strategic intervention, you will find success in this role. The most rewarding part of this role is putting the finishing touches on the customer’s new homes as they finish up their 1 year warranty period.

  • Seek out the root causes of issues to develop the most efficient and appropriate solutions.

These skills will be used to:


  • Manage residential construction warranty service requests.

  • Develop and implement the appropriate and cost effective solutions to warranty service issues.

  • Schedule and perform customer issue tracking for closed communities and one year after warranty.

  • Provide appropriate and complete documentation on all service-related paperwork.

  • Process issues while considering the scope of work, supplier performance and Trade Partner performance.

  • Exceptional organization skills using databases and scheduling platforms.

  • Customer service motivated and eager to deliver the best experience.

  • Communication skills that quickly adapt to different individuals.

Physical demands and work environment:


  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and walk on various types of terrain, including uneven surfaces, construction sites, and residential properties that may have mud, ruts, etc.

  • Must be able to utilize sensory skills (i.e., verbal communication) and technology (i.e. cellphone) to communicate with other Associates and customers effectively.

  • Must be able to perform movements such as bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, grasping, etc.

  • Must have the ability to climb permanent stairs, temporary stairs, and ladders.

  • Must have the physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting approximately 50 lbs. unassisted throughout the workday.

  • Must be able to endure and be exposed to different types of conditions, including weather (heat, cold, rain, ice, etc.) and substances such as dust, dirt, and fumes.

  • Must be able to properly use and wear protective gear provided, including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes, etc.

  • Must be able to travel to job sites regularly throughout the day.
