As a Painter, you will be responsible for.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to apply coatings and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints and protective coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes for buildings, structures, and equipment. Ideal candidates will have experience in surface preparation, industrial painting, and finishing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and lacquer coatings to protect and enhance surfaces

• Paint interior and exterior walls, structures, fixtures, and equipment

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or supervisor instructions

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and removing old paint or coatings

• Use tools such as brushes, rollers, spray equipment, sandpaper, steel wool, and paint removers

• Ensure smooth and even finishes while maintaining high-quality standards

• Follow all safety guidelines and painting best practices

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience as a Painter, Industrial Painter, or Construction Painter (preferred)

• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating applications

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and spray painting equipment

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures

Location Mansfield, OH 44906

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Shift Timing: 1st shift.

Pay Range: $23.00/hr. - $25.33/hr.
