Job Description

Maintenance Technician Role

Shift: Nights M-Th 4:00pm-3:30am, voluntary Friday OT

Salary: $20.00/hr-$35.00/hr + shift premium

Are you passionate about keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll be the backbone of our manufacturing facility, ensuring our equipment and systems are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. You'll work closely with operators and team members to troubleshoot issues and keep our production line moving.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Keep Things Running: You'll install, maintain, and repair everything from industrial machinery to electrical systems and physical structures.

  • Solve Problems: You'll use your skills to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, finding effective solutions that keep our facility efficient.

  • Proactive Care: You'll conduct preventive maintenance to help prevent downtime before it happens, keeping our equipment in top shape.

  • Collaborate: You'll partner with machine operators and your fellow maintenance team members to diagnose machine variations and make necessary repairs.

  • Hands-on Work: From assembling hydraulic equipment and repairing electrical apparatus (like transformers and wiring) to using machine tools and welding equipment, your day will be varied and hands-on.

  • Stay Organized: You'll document your repairs and maintenance activities, helping us keep clear, accurate records of our progress.

About You

  • We're looking for a teammate with about four years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing—or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required, and we'd love to see an Associate degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance if you have one.

  • You're a natural problem-solver who feels right at home troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • Reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics is second nature to you, and you have a sharp eye for detail.

  • You thrive on a team, but you're just as comfortable working independently when the job calls for it.

  • If you're familiar with preventive maintenance practices and CMMS software, you'll fit right in.

  • You're comfortable with shop math, including fractions, decimals, and calculator use.

  • Whether you're already certified in welding, electrical systems, HVAC, or OSHA Forklift Operation—or are ready to earn those certifications—we want to hear from you!

Join us and help ensure our facility stays safe, efficient, and running at its best!
