Starting pay of $20.00 per hour
Annual merit-based wage increases
Up to $24.60 per hour starting pay for qualified candidates with verified passenger transportation or transit experience within the past 10 years

This posting is for a part-time position. Part-time employees are not eligible for employer-sponsored health insurance or other full-time benefits.
Where You'll Work
Drivers are based out of our Butler County locations in:
Hamilton
Middletown
Oxford
We operate service seven days a week, up to 23 hours per day, offering a variety of schedules to fit operational needs.
What You'll Do
As a BCRTA Vehicle Operator, you'll:
Safely operate 35-foot transit coaches and 25-passenger cutaway vehicles
Provide exceptional customer service to every passenger
Help people travel safely throughout Butler County
Work independently while following established routes and procedures
Use onboard technology, including tablets and mobile applications (we'll train you!)
Follow all safety regulations and company policies
What We're Looking For
You'll be successful in this role if you:
Enjoy serving others and working with the public
Are dependable and arrive on time
Can work independently and make sound decisions
Are comfortable learning new technology
Have excellent safety awareness
Minimum Qualifications
Class A or Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement
Clean driving record (fewer than four points)
Ability to pass a DOT physical examination
Ability to pass a DOT drug screen
Ability to pass state and national background checks
