Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Cleaning Operator for a 12-month contract opportunity with possible extension in Cleveland, OH. This overnight role supports manufacturing operations by cleaning silicone mixing tanks, production equipment, valves, and surrounding work areas to help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environment.

This is a strong opportunity for candidates with industrial cleaning, manufacturing, janitorial, sanitation, or production support experience who take pride in hands-on work and attention to detail. The role offers steady full-time hours, a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, and the chance to contribute to a team-oriented production environment with clear procedures, safety standards, and supportive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean silicone mixing tanks, vessels, valves, and related production equipment according to established procedures.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble valves and associated components as required.
- Remove residue, debris, and excess materials from equipment, floors, and workspaces.
- Perform general housekeeping, sanitation, and facility support duties throughout the production area.
- Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Support additional cleaning and production-area tasks as assigned by the team.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $22 per hour.
- Employment Type: 12-month contract with possible extension.
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44128.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Clean and maintain silicone tanks, vessels, valves, and production equipment.
- Support sanitation, housekeeping, and residue removal in a manufacturing environment.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Perform repetitive cleaning tasks in a fast-paced overnight production setting.

- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, industrial cleaning, janitorial, sanitation, or production experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and cleaning standards.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and cleaning chemicals.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience cleaning production tanks, vessels, valves, or industrial equipment.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, chemical, silicone, or production environment.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements, sanitation procedures, and safe handling of cleaning materials.
