Sewing Machine Operators
Job Description
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operators to join our production team. This role involves operating industrial sewing machines to assemble, sew, and inspect products while meeting quality, safety, and production standards.
Shift Options
- 1st Shift: 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM (Monday–Thursday) & 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Friday)
Pay Rate
- 1st Shift: $17/hour
- 2nd Shift: $18/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines (single-needle, double-needle, or specialty machines as assigned)
- Sew materials according to work orders, patterns, and quality specifications
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, defects, and overall quality
- Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Meet daily production goals while following safety guidelines
- Communicate equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Previous industrial sewing or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
