Job Description

As a Security Guard - Driver Patrol Route Officer in Ashville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents while supporting employees and visitors with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or emergency responders, and contribute to a caring, agile team that acts with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and/or lab areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and perform access control duties, including verifying identification, managing visitor check-in, and directing deliveries to designated locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete timely documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
