Press Machine Operator
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team in Wellington, Ohio. The Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of stamping press equipment to produce high-quality parts.
This position will train on 1st shift for the first 4-6 weeks then move to 3rd shift.
1st shift training hours: 5:30am to 3:30pm M-TH + mandatory OT on Fridays if needed, some weekends
3rd shift hours: 7:30pm to 5:30am M-TH + mandatory OT on Friday if needed, some weekends
Responsibilities:
- must be mechanically inclined
- Operate stamping press machines to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machines for proper operation
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working condition
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Experience with stamping press operations and fabrication techniques
- Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of CAM programming and CAD software
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes
- Familiarity with SolidWorks software is a plus
- Experience with lathe operations and Fanuc controls is desirable
