Location: Jackson Center, OH

Shift: Day shift Mon-Fri, Flexible start times

What You’ll be doing as a Diesel Mechanic:

• Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on all types of diesel and trailing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, issues, performing repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete paperwork on equipment maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure the work area is clean, safe, and organized at all times.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and technologies that enhance productivity.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with operations and shop management.

Diesel Mechanic Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic; supervisory or lead technician experience preferred.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software (experience with TMT a plus).
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours calls if required.
