- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, discharge planners, personal care homes, etc.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote community recognition, enhance census growth, and increase referrals.
- Track Referral trends, monitor development and identify key target marketing opportunities.
- Plan and organize marketing events and informational sessions.
- Educate stakeholders about hospice care.
- Oversee initial patient consent for hospice care and ensure documentation is processed correctly.
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss successes, competitor insights, and future growth opportunities.
- Meet quotas and/or expectations set by the Director of Business Development.
- Strong, effective communication skills, and responsiveness to client needs.
- Ability to build personal relationships quickly.
- Effective leadership, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with insured vehicle and reliable transportation.
- Deep compassion and integrity in patient care and adherence to hospice philosophy.
- Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in hospice or healthcare.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
