Continuum’s Travel & Event Coordinator helps keep our team moving and our events running smoothly. This role focuses on making travel organized and stress-free for our team member by handling all aspects of booking and coordination, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation. In addition to travel, this position also plays a key role in planning and supporting company events throughout the year and helping ensure they run smoothly from planning through execution. This role requires a highly detail-oriented and organized individual who can efficiently handle logistics, balance multiple priorities, and ensure a seamless experience for our team members.
The position is primarily focused on coordinating travel, including booking flights, hotels, and ground transportation, while maintaining accurate records of expenses, reconciling folios, and coding transactions. The coordinator will regularly communicate and collaborate with Supervisors, Project Managers, and Division Managers to ensure travel needs are met efficiently and everyone stays informed.
When time allows, this role also supports the planning and setup of internal company events, helping with coordination, vendor communication, and on-site logistics as needed. There may also be occasional opportunities to assist with marketing initiatives and other team projects that support overall company operations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, or experience in a similar role.
- 1-3+ years of experience in travel coordination, event planning or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with expense tracking and financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Familiarity with travel booking platforms (e.g., Chase Travel or similar).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with travel management or expense management tools.
- Event planning experience, including vendor coordination and logistics.
- Basic marketing support or coordination experience.
Schedule
- 8 AM – 5 PM Monday to Friday in office.
- Please note that our office is dog friendly.
- Overtime available as needed.
Additional Information
- This position is a full-time, in-office position located in Fairlawn, OH.
- We are a dog friendly office.
- Experience is preferred but not required.
- Candidates must be reliable, detailed-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
