Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and an agile approach to daily responsibilities.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, direction, and/or badge verification in accordance with location protocols and assigned post orders.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in an environment that includes a hospital morgue.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in accordance with site protocols and applicable law.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
