An accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant who will be responsible for working with clients, partners, and staff to provide comprehensive ta advisory and compliance services. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
Perform review of individual tax returns prepared by tax staff or interns
Serve as a technical resource for tax staff and interns
Conduct basic to complex tax research
Collaborate with colleagues to conduct tax planning for individual, corporate, partnership, estate, gift, trust, and international tax clients
Review federal, state, and local tax notices and draft responses
Delegate work and supervise tax staff ad interns
Participate in firm wide and tax department administrative projects and assist with training of other personnel
Develop a network of industry peers and business contacts, meet with prospective clients, and cultivate referral business

Job Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or taxation from an accredited college or university
Must have 3 to 4 years experience in public accounting and demonstrate a progression in knowledge and depth of understanding in various area of taxation
Must have a CPA License or be CPA eligible
Must be able to demonstrate time management and organizational skills to meet tax deadlines
Must be self-directed and self-motivated with a solid work history
Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail, demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills, take ownership of job duties, and work well as part of a team
