Looking for a Clinical Counselor (CDCA,LCDCII,LCDCIII,SA,LSW) Professional overview of responsibilities. Required and preferred

Their duties include conducting counseling sessions (individual, group, and family), diagnosing and treating mental disorders/AoD and developing treatment plans. They assess clients through interviews and tests, provide crisis intervention, and maintain confidential records. They also collaborate with other professionals, educate clients and families, monitor progress, stay updated on techniques, and adhere to ethical standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in a clinical setting is often necessary. Key skills include crisis intervention, knowledge of therapeutic techniques like CBT, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, the ability to work with diverse populations, organizational skills, and familiarity with EHR systems. A commitment to continuing education is also important.

This professional must offer emotional and psychological support to individuals, and groups facing various mental health/AOD challenges. They understand human behavior and emotional difficulties and create a safe space for clients. Must be able to use a EHR system.
