Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, monitor telemetry patients, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols
- Participate in emergency response and patient care interventions as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Strong telemetry monitoring and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
Licensure / Certification:
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
- AHA BLS Certification required
- AHA ACLS Certification required
Additional Requirements:
- Must work at least every other holiday
- ECG Rhythm Recognition Test required during orientation
- SafeMedicate assessment required during orientation
