**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to management and/or local authorities as directed.
+ Support the cultural institution by assisting visitors with directions and information as needed.
+ Assist with access control measures, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
+ Document and report all security-related incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
