DOMESTIC RELATIONS PARALEGAL

Stebelton Snider LPA, a full service law firm operating for over 40 years in Lancaster, Ohio, is seeking a professional, experienced Domestic Relations Paralegal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with new DR clients prior to attorney meeting to prepare notes on the facts of the case.
• Attend initial attorney/client conferences.
• Collaborate with attorneys on next steps to include discovery, drafting of pleadings and motions, and requesting information and documents from clients and opposing counsel.
• Prepare financial and any other affidavits.
• Manage timely filing and serving for hearings.
• Communicate with clients regarding temporary orders and case updates.
• Coordinate case management in conjunction with the attorney to ensure completion.
• Perform scanning, copying, and electronic file management tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in the Domestic Relations area preferred
• Paralegal certification preferred
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic file management and case management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time (40 hrs per week), in-office position Monday-Friday at our office in Lancaster's Historic District. Stebelton Snider offers a competitive salary and benefits package including firm subsidized medial insurance, 401k with firm match, and PTO.
