Cable Technician I - Artificial Lift

Job Description
Job Duties:
- Under direct supervision, performs basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment.
- Receives cable and carries out basic tests.
- Performs basic repairs and learns how to splice cable.
- Completes paperwork to send cable to inventory or field.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a current and valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
- Employee is expected to learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application into his/her duties.
- The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
