Lawn Care Technician

Responsibilities

• Apply granular and liquid lawn care products, including pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, primarily using ride-on equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all product applications
• Identify and treat lawn insects and diseases as needed
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of application equipment
• Safely mix fertilizers and control products according to company & label guidelines
• Follow all safety protocols, including the use of assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Interact professionally and courteously with homeowners, clients, and the public

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with fertilizer and pesticide chemicals
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Available to work variable hours, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to the branch location
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and walk long distances
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• At least 1 year of experience in the green industry preferred
• Pesticide license is a plus; training is available for the right candidate
