About the Role:
The Leasing Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the leasing operations within a real estate portfolio, ensuring optimal occupancy and tenant satisfaction. This position is responsible for managing lease agreements, coordinating lease administration, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws and other relevant regulations. The Leasing Manager collaborates closely with property management and real estate development teams to align leasing strategies with overall business objectives. By effectively presenting information and negotiating lease terms, the Leasing Manager maximizes revenue while maintaining positive tenant relationships. Ultimately, this role drives the successful leasing and retention of properties, contributing significantly to the financial performance and reputation of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in leasing management or property management within the real estate industry.
- Proficiency in Yardi Systems or similar property management software.
- Strong knowledge of lease agreements, lease administration, and Fair Housing regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Property Management (e.g., CPM, ARM) or Leasing (e.g., CLS).
- Experience in real estate development or working closely with development teams.
- Advanced knowledge of legal documents related to leasing and property management.
- Demonstrated success in managing large or multi-site property portfolios.
- Familiarity with additional property management software platforms and CRM tools.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full leasing cycle including marketing available properties, screening prospective tenants, and executing lease agreements.
- Utilize Yardi Systems to maintain accurate lease records, track lease expirations, and generate reports for management review.
- Ensure all leasing activities comply with Fair Housing laws and other applicable legal requirements.
- Collaborate with property management and real estate development teams to support property improvements and leasing strategies.
- Prepare, review, and administer legal documents related to lease agreements and tenant communications.
- Conduct regular training and support for leasing staff to maintain high standards of customer service and legal compliance.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to recommend adjustments in leasing terms and marketing approaches.
- Saturday and Sunday Hours Mandatory
