DF Supply, Inc. is a distributor of a wide range of products, including fencing, gate automation, access control devices, fence and gate accessories, tools, agricultural supplies, and more. Our content team is seeking an organized, detail-oriented E-Commerce Content Specialist to help develop and manage product listings and digital assets across our network of over 40 e-commerce websites. This entry-level position is a great fit for someone with strong writing skills, a sharp eye for structure and consistency, and a knack for organizing data in Excel.
The role centers around writing and formatting product descriptions, uploading media and documentation, and implementing SEO suggestions into product and category content. Candidates should be comfortable learning technical tools and applying structured content best practices. You will work closely with SEO and media team members, with opportunities to build cross-functional skills in photography, content strategy, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write and format clear, consistent product descriptions and category content
• Collect, organize, and upload supporting manuals, spec sheets, and images
• Use Excel to maintain product data, attributes, and categorization across multiple sites
• Apply provided SEO suggestions into product content, including keywords and formatting
• Format descriptions using HTML elements such as headings, links, and lists
• Ensure consistency in tone, layout, and structure across multiple platforms
• Work closely with content, SEO, and media team members to support ongoing projects
• Contribute to internal documentation, content cleanup, and product onboarding efforts
Core Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity and structure
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and data organization
• High attention to detail and accuracy in both writing and data entry
• Basic understanding of HTML for content formatting
• Willingness to learn new systems and work across multiple types of content
• Ability to manage priorities, follow formatting standards, and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating in a team environment
Bonus Skills/Experience:
Experience with Magento or similar content management systems
Familiarity with Photoshop and Acrobat
