Set Up Coordinator
*This position is eligible to sit in our Buffalo, Cleveland or Pittsburgh office*
JOB SUMMARY: Review application in system to be sure the Mortgage Loan Originator has
entered all information correctly, including names, social security
numbers, property addresses, etc. Validate/Order third party verifications
(appraisal, employment, survey, etc.) and be sure items are returned in a
timely manner. Assist in helping Operations Support Manager with all new
orders and questions by Visionet. Work with OSM to improve and simplify
process’. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Open all new application files once processed by Visionet
- Process and deposit all application fee checks
- Set-up loan files and order verifications if required on transaction.
- Order case numbers on government loans, including FHA Case
Transfers/Cancellations - Review application package for required program, Company, Agency, Investor, RESPA and ECOA compliance. Be sure all correct disclosures have been given to customer.
- Answer all incoming calls for the processing team and act as liaison for borrowers, realtors and other third parties.
- Obtain Written/Verbal Verifications of Employment for borrowers
- Pre-start title and escrow work
- Request appraisal when all documentation is received
- Be sure files move through set-up to processors within 48-72 hours of receipt.
- Complete all emailed requests from Mortgage Loan Originations within 24 hours of receipt.
- Prepare, if applicable, the “Decline Letter”, and ensure accurate
disclosure of the reason(s) for the adverse action at whatever time
during the processing period it is determined that applicants do not
qualify. - Put information in system for declination and send check
request to refund customer any funds due them. - Complete invoice reporting for Third Party companies and submit to
management for approval - Upload received loan information from third parties or borrowers into Image Document Software
- Perform all other duties and tasks as may be directed by the employee’s supervisor and/or management. JOB DIMENSIONS:
Internal Relations: Works regularly with Mortgage Loan Originator, processors and closers
External Relations: Realtors, Appraisers, credit bureaus, title companies and borrowers. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum of a high school diploma and up to 1 year in office environment, preferably some banking experience.
- Computer skills
- Great Time management skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
