Senior Structural Engineer (10+ Years)

We are looking for a  Senior Structural Engineer  with a minimum 10 years of experience who wants to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multi-discipline firm. The successful individual will be a licensed structural engineer with solid experience in the design of steel concrete and wood materials for commercial and industrial buildings.

Expected annual salary of $120000 - $140000.

Qualifications :

• Perform and oversee structural analysis design and detailing on a variety of commercial and industrial building projects
• Collaborate with the architect owner and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings
• Lead manage and mentor a team of engineers designers and drafters to execute structural designs.
• Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design
• Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications
• Attend construction site visits and assist in construction administration.
• Manage profitability of projects and maintain a working relationship with clients
• Participate in business development including proposal writing and contact negotiations
• Be available to travel to local job sites and client meetings several times per week.
• Be present in the office during the days and hours that are set by the office manager. In-office work is required for this role.
• Be able to lift 35 pounds climb ladders and work from high platforms.
• Be able to simultaneously work on multiple projects with challenging schedules in a high-energy work environment.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
