General Production Worker- $18-20/hr
Job Description
General Production Workers perform a variety of production tasks, including cleaning work areas, handling materials, using hand and power tools, and operating industrial machinery.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor and production duties in a shop/manufacturing environment.
- Use hand tools and power tools for tasks such as sanding, grinding, and deburring steel components.
- Assist with operating manufacturing equipment, including industrial machinery, forklifts, and sanding/grinding equipment.
- Read and interpret tape measures accurately to support precise measurements and production work.
Essential Skills
- Experience working in a shop environment as a laborer or production worker.
- Experience using a sander or grinder.
- Proficiency using hand tools and power tools in a production or shop setting.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Comfort performing manual labor in a large shop or manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience sanding or grinding steel components.
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment such as industrial machinery, forklifts, or sanding/grinding tools.
- Experience operating various shop machinery beyond basic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret shop blueprints.

Work Environment
This position is based in a large shop and manufacturing facility. The environment is non-climate controlled, with dock doors open and fans used to help manage temperatures during warmer seasons. The role follows a first-shift schedule, working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Galion, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
