Plumbing Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic to assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to thread and properly run new black pipe
- Skilled in the use of all hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Must be experienced in new installations and new roughing
- Basic knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
- Knowledge of installing iron- black pipe, groove, copper, and cast-iron piping
- Effective communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience (Mechanic)
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic knowledge of building codes
- OSHA 10
- Hand tools
