Intervention Specialist (Grade K-12)
POSITION / DUTIES - Intervention Specialist (Grades K–12)
The Newton Falls Exempted Village School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered
Intervention Specialist licensed for grades K–12. The ideal candidate will bring diverse
instructional skills and a strong foundation in primary reading, with the ability to support
students across multiple grade levels in multiple schools.
SALARY - As per the Negotiated Agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong background in early literacy and reading intervention.
- Experience in a co-teaching setting and resource room environment.
- Demonstrated skill in IEP development and implementation.
- Familiarity with Ohio’s Learning Standards and data-driven instruction.
- Science of Reading and Dyslexia training preferred.
- Experience supporting students at the high school level is a plus.
- This position serves multiple grade levels and requires flexibility, collaboration, and a
