Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay: $22 – $28+ per hour (based on experience)
Project Scope: Commercial, Industrial, Government/Federal (Low Voltage / Electrical)
The Opportunity IMS Technology and Security LLC is seeking a skilled Installation Technician to support the deployment of commercial security and low voltage systems across a variety of project sites.
In this role, you will be responsible for running cable, installing devices, and supporting system builds that power security, access control, and communication systems. You will work alongside experienced technicians and leadership while continuing to grow your technical skillset in a structured, team-oriented environment.

How You Will Make an Impact
Run and route low voltage cabling (Cat5/6, fiber, control wiring) across commercial job sites
Install and terminate wiring for access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems
Mount and install system components including panels, cameras, readers, and devices
Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project plans
Assist with system setup, testing, and basic troubleshooting
Ensure clean, organized, and code-compliant installations
Work closely with Lead Technicians and Project Teams to complete installations efficiently
Maintain tools, materials, and job site organization
Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
2–5+ years of experience in low voltage, electrical, or cable installation
Experience running cable and installing wiring in commercial environments
Ability to read basic blueprints and wiring diagrams
Strong understanding of job site safety and best practices
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites
Preferred Backgrounds
Electricians or electrical apprentices
Cable installers (structured cabling, telecom, data)
Home security or home automation installers
Low voltage technicians
