MBS is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow the agreed practices as defined in the quality management system.
• Work within the scope of your responsibilities.
• Check your work to verify its accuracy in meeting the objectives.
• Know how you contribute to the achievement of the objectives.
• Maintain all manufacturing equipment and keep in good, safe working condition.
• Maintain all heating and cooling systems within the building.
• Order all necessary parts for above mentioned jobs.
• Work with all department heads to ensure their maintenance needs are addressed within a timely manner.
• Operate electric meters, welders, shears, break machines, fork truck, drills, band saws, torches, high lift equipment, overhead cranes.
• Perform minor electrical repairs.
• Maintain all PM records as described per our quality procedures.
• Maintain all outside HAVC Units on roof top of building.
• May assist in training of temporary/new employees.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma, and/or equivalent, training in electrical, mechanical, heating and cooling repair. Minimum of 5 yrs. practical factory experience.
• Communicate verbally and/or in writing with other employees, other departments and supervision as to work in progress, problems and/or completion.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers.
• Be able to identify work process problems and possible solutions.
• Forklift Operators License.
• Stand for prolonged periods of time on concrete floor.
• Will be required to kneel, squat, stoop, recline, climb, crawl, and/or bend on an as needed basis.
• Must be able to adjust visual focus.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. on a rare occasion unassisted.
• Traditional shop atmosphere. Subject to temperature variance based on season. Loud noise level. May be exposed to various fumes or smells based on job.
• Required to wear and/or use safety equipment/devices based on position. Must be able to work O.T. on an extended basis up to 50-60 /wk total.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Communication skills.
