Strategic Account Manager, OEM Roofing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for designated key accounts, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions that meet client requirements.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the building materials industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends, staying ahead of competitors and positioning the company as a preferred supplier.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas and develop actionable insights.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage contract renewals and amendments, proactively addressing any issues or concerns to maintain long-term partnerships.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Anticipate customer needs and preferences, proactively recommending product solutions and value-added services to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to optimize performance and drive continuous growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in strategic account management and sales, preferably within the OEM roofing/building materials industry.
- Strong understanding of construction market dynamics, trends, and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- This role has national responsibility. Ability for regular travel is required.
