Beer Hall Expo
As an Expo at our Beer Hall, your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, you support the Back of House (BOH) team without direct reports. Your responsibilities and expectations include:
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the Expo area is well-organized and stocked according to our standards, maintaining a seamless service flow.
- Coordinate closely with the BOH and FOH teams to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests, adhering to our service protocols.
- Execute opening and closing procedures meticulously, including prep tasks and equipment checks, to guarantee each shift's successful start and finish.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the Expo area, including utensils, surfaces, and equipment.
- Readily assist fellow team members, including servers and runners, as required to optimize Expo operations.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and uphold the FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation method to ensure quality and minimize waste.
- Promptly communicate any inventory shortages or equipment issues to management and team members to facilitate swift resolution.
- Immediately escalate any guest concerns or issues to a Supervisor, Lead, or Manager for prompt resolution.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting weights of up to 50lbs daily and moving objects weighing up to 150lbs daily as necessary for Expo setup and breakdown.
- Able to stand for at least eight hours during shifts to oversee Expo operations effectively.
- Perform tasks such as bending, lifting, kneeling, reaching, and continuous movement for extended periods in the Expo area.
