Snow Plow & Skid Steer Operator
Green Impressions Landscaping, a leading landscape company serving Northwest Ohio, is seeking dedicated Snow Plow & Skid Steer Operators to join our Winter Operations Team. As a member of our professional crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and accessibility of commercial and residential properties throughout the winter season. Responsibilities
- Operate plow trucks, skid steers, or loaders to remove snow and ice from commercial and residential sites
- Apply salt and de-icing materials as needed to maintain safe surfaces
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on assigned equipment
- Respond promptly to snow events, which may occur during nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience operating snow removal equipment such as plow trucks, skid steers, or loaders
- Dependable and safety-minded, with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work long or overnight shifts as required by weather conditions
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test (excluding marijuana)
Compensation
$31.00 per hour
Work Schedule & Location
- On-call position throughout the snow season (typically December–February)
- Shifts vary from 4 to 20+ hours depending on snow accumulation and conditions
- Primary location: 842 Abbe Road, Sheffield Village, OH 44054
- Service area includes: Amherst, Avon, Avon Lake, Bay Village, Elyria, Lorain, Rocky River, Sheffield Village, Sheffield Lake, Strongsville, and Westlake
