Production Supervisor, Food Manufacturing | Centerville, TN

We are seeking a 2 nd Shift Production Superviso r that is directly responsible for all manufacturing activities, to ensure a safe and efficient operation, and to deliver quality products in accordance with the shift production priorities.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervision of shift staff, organizing and monitoring work processes

· Maintain safe and healthy work environment, placing Safety first.

· Execute operational objectives to ensure shift meets safety, quality and productivity standards.

· Responsible for onboarding and training of shift employees

· Coaching, counseling and support of development plans for career growth of staff

· Management of Performance process

· Enforces policies and procedures and when needed, manages disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans to meet operating standards.

· Fosters an environment of Teamwork and Collaboration

Position Requirements

· Minimum two years supervisory experience in the food industry, pharmaceutical, or other like industry.

· Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, Quality Testing and Safety Concerns, and SAP operating systems

· Previous experience managing sanitation activities and understanding of sanitation cleaning process required.

· Strong computer skills proficient using Microsoft Excel

· Effective Communicator and Delegator

· Excellent leadership and cross-functional team skills

· Knowledge of SAP operating systems a plus

· Excellent problem-solving skills focusing on Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action and “5 Why” analysis.

· Willingness to work Saturdays as needed.
